"Hollywood Ink: Vincent D'Onofrio May Play Harvey Weinstein. Seriously."

As we rocket toward the end of the ’00s, time is running out to determine the greatest casting rumors of the decade. Thankfully we have the producers of Down and Dirty, the long-planned adaptation of Peter Biskind’s celebrated indie-film tome Down and Dirty Pictures, to wallop the competition with word that Vincent D’Onofrio is in talks to play the book’s mad, evil genius Harvey Weinstein. Ever the Method actor, D’Onofrio will immediately commence touting his performance for Oscar consideration.*

*Okay, I find this statement an insult. Mr. D's. career has been "the finger" in Hollywood's face. I don't believe that he would EVER campaign for an Oscar.

Did you get that too?! I thought it was just me but this whole article smacks of so much sarcasm I wanted to rip someone's eyes out!

It's stupid! VDO is an artist, he doesn't run after any award! It's anything but jealousy! I have a tremendous urge to bang this "journalist"!

I said some VERY rude words about the parentage of the author of the article, who is clearly someone who knows fuck-all about Vincent D'Onofrio, or his career and was too lazy to find out! Vincent will NEVER win an Oscar because he's too independent minded, has done movies the Oscar Board would have a fit of the vapours over, and he'll NEVER bend over and kiss anyone's ass, least of all to win some meaningless award.
*stamps foot indignantly on Vincent's behalf*

Whatever idiot wrote this doesn't know anything about Vincent at all. The man refuses to do the rounds of Talk shows and he's going to court the media for an Oscar? Idiots.

Sounds like another typically bitchy and jealous airhead floating around L.A.
