Is anyone else as tired, disgusted and PISSED as I am with USA?
I'm tired of the poor ad campaign,
I'm disgusted with the ads they have,
and I'm PISSED that they're treating Goldblum as THE savior of the show.

I'm also tired of the argument that USA need to 'focus' on Goldblum because they need to build him an audience. Fine, but I'm finding their treatment of Vincent and Kate in this absolutely disgraceful, not to mention insulting. After all, Vincent and Kate have been with the show since day 1 and now they're damn near being completely ignored!
I concur. Fuck Goldblum. If he disappeared tomorrow, who would care? (
I am not liking USA's over promotion much either, I will still like to see what Jeff will bring to his character etc. But I am not keen on USA's ways of trying to grab the audience ( mind you they weren't ever that great in promoting the show, sme way NBC stopped running great promos) to be honest the adverts over here in the UK are much better.
I don't think you're over-reacting at all. I'm heartily sick of hearing about Goldblum all the time too.
Hard to believe that before S7 USA did such great promos using Vincent & Kate..hard to believe they used Vincent to promote another show too, given that they can't even be bothered to make a new promo for his own show now :-(
Seems like the promo that was attached to Monk's epi this last Friday was a little better about including VDO and Kate. Hopefully they will build on that and step it up over the next month.
I'm still planning on watching the first Goldblum epi because if it were me Goren should be meeting the new detective in the first epi. Does anyone know?

Did you catch the poll on USA? I like really like Jeff as an actor, have enjoyed his other roles, and am looking forward to him on board...but USA face it VINCENT is the star! Not only that but he is the eye, hand, brain, voice, full body and any other type of candy you can think of for all of us!

How can USA not know that! Women and Men adore him! We also have no desire to continue to see Jeff in those poses with his hands in his pockets and his jacket open. That's really not winning any points and that's not what Jeff is all about! STOP IT PLEASE!

They are promoting Goldblum because he is a so-called movie star. I'm sorry, when was his last hit movie???
They do seem to be forgetting that Vincent and Erbe ARE the reason people started tuning into the show eight years ago and they ARE the reason people are tuning in now.
The ONLY reason anyone puts up with them splitting the shows with another set of actors is because it's the only way to keep Vincent and Erbe on the show.
I have seen Goldblum's movies and I'm sorry but IMO he can't act his way out of a paper bag. He is nothing but a neccesary evil to keep the show on the air.
USA has their heads so far up that man's ass that when speaks you can see the eyes of an USA exective looking at you from just behind his tonsils!!!
Okay, I'm going to shut up now, I'm fixing to say some very not so nice things about USA and their new "golden" boy.
