DON'T GO IN THE WOODS

Question of the day......

Judging by these pictures (that I give a heartfelt THANK YOU to jazzy and her anonymous, wonderful friend).........

Do you think that Mr. D'Onofrio made this movie as a real movie, or, do you think that he made this to help young film makers?

After looking at these photos, it appears that the majority of the cast and crew seem to be on the youthful side. I'm just wondering if he was passing along his passion for the craft and his talent to the next generation of film makers.
What do you think???

That's a good question.

I know it's been shown at film festivals, but does anyone know if it's going to be released to the general public?

What little I've heard about it, it sounds like it'll be a good movie.

BTW- Like that? No smart ass comments...

I remember hearing about it when he made it, but can't remember anything apart from the title. Probably Eliza or Diane, who forget nothing, will be able to tell us.

I think you mean 'Five Minutes Mr Welles' VDO-Obsessed, that one HAS seen the light of day, via Film Festivals, but hasn't appeared anywhere elsel other than Youtube. Vincent directed this one last summer and mentioned in December that he was just editing it - is there nothing the man can't do - bless!

Vincent does what Vincent LIKES doing, he's not interested in box office, but it would be nice if it - and Welles - made it into the mainsteam sometime, although I'll miss seeing him in front of the camera in 'Woods'. Let's just hope it doesn't become a habit!

I was thinking that I heard somewhere that he screened at a film festival in Germany a few months ago, but I could be wrong.

Of course as unreliable as the internet is when it comes to VDO, they probably got the title of the movie wrong.

With it being a horror flick, we might have a chance of at least seeing it at the video store. One of those straight to DVD things.

The only thing I think has been shown at festivals for sure is 'Welles'. Vincent definitely said in December he was 'editing' so I doubt there's any way 'Woods' can have been screened anywhere yet - but I know nothing of course ;0) He can call me any time and tell me things tho'

Are you kidding??? You are a wealth of VDO knowledge. Probably got it wrong in the internet posting I was reading.
